HSC candidate kills self
A college student, who was supposed to sit for HSC examinations this year, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Adabor area of the city last night.
Nur-e-Alam, 18, son of an expatriate Ilias Sikdar and a student of Dhaka Imperial College, was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
Nur's sister Rupa said her brother might have killed himself, as he suffered depression due to inadequate preparation for the exams.
