Women for Women condemns Hena's death
Women for Women: A Research and Study Group yesterday condemned the death of Hena, who became a victim of fatwa (religious edict).
In a statement signed by the organisation's President Barrister Rabeya Bhuiyan, it demanded proper investigation against the perpetrators of such a criminal act.
The organisation joins other human rights organisations to take all necessary steps against such inhuman fatwa incident and demands exemplary punishment of the perpetrators, said the statement.
