Sust's 20th anniversary celebrated
The 2Oth-founding anniversary of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) was celebrated on its campus yesterday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was the chief guest while Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Saleh uddin Ahmed chaired the programme.
Founder VC of the university Prof Sadaruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, lawmakers Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder and Syeda Zebunnesa Haque, UGC members Prof Dr Tajul Islam and Prof Atful Hai Shibli, Sust treasurer Prof Ilyas Uddin Biswas, Sust Teachers Association President Prof S M Saiful Islam and General Secretary Abdul Gani were present on the occasion.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said we need a modern technology based education system where moral value is very important.
