Ihsanul made BSS MD, Chief Editor
The government yesterday appointed Ihsanul Karim as the chief editor and managing director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) on a two-year contract.
Karim, a journalist by profession, yesterday joined as the chief of the national news agency, from where he retired last month on completion of his regular service tenure while serving at the same position.
Karim, a liberation war veteran, joined BSS as a staff reporter in 1972 and served the organization subsequently.
During his long career, he also worked with British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Press Trust of India (PTI).
