Ex-OC shows 'no-trust' in court
Former officer-in-charge (OC) of Motijheel Police Station AKM Rafiqul Islam (Rafique), the prime accused in the killing of college student Kamrul Islam Momin, yesterday expressed no-confidence in a Dhaka court judgment.
Judge Mohammad Rezaul Islam of the Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 did not pass any order on the petition and fixed February 23 for the next hearing.
In the petition, Rafique said he would not get justice from the tribunal as it cancelled his first class division in jail.
Momin, 22, a student of Dhaka Commerce College, was shot dead near his Ibrahimpur house in the city on September 13, 2005.
