Child buried under soil dies
A six-year-old girl died when she was accidentally buried under soil in the city's Shyampur area yesterday.
Suborna Akhter, 6, is the daughter of Mizanur Rahman, a resident Shyampur Wasa Pukur Par.
Suborna was playing with other children near a drain which had loose soil piled on its edge. When she fell into the drain, the mound of soil fell on top of her, said Officer-in-Charge Kazi Ayubur Rahman of Kadamtoli Police Station.
