2 killed in road crashes
A 40-year woman was killed by a battery-run autorickshaw at the southern approach of the Keane Bridge in the city yesterday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Abeda Begum, 45, of Sultanshi of Habiganj sadar upazila. Locals caught the driver and handed him over to the Kotwali police.
Our Correspondent from Netrakona says: A five years old child was killed as a motorcycle hit him on Mohongonj-Sahildew Road at Paboi in Mohonganj upazila yesterday noon.
The dead was identified as Kaium Siddiki, son of Buruj Siddiki of the village. Local handed motorcycle rider Debu Banik over to the police.
