Constn worker dies after fall
A construction worker died after allegedly falling from an under construction building in the city's Mirpur 1 area yesterday.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy where sources said the death was due to falling from a height.
The deceased Imtezar Hossain, 40, resident of Gabtoli in Bagura, was temporarily staying in the building at Zoo Road with 24 workers, said the foreman Zakir Hossain.
After dinner with the others, Imtezar went to sleep on the ground floor of the 13-storied building around 11:00pm. His co-workers found the body on a road adjacent to the building around 6:00am, said Zakir.
