Two killed
An employee was killed after he fell down from a tower at Joralganj in Mirasarai early yesterday.
Police said Arman, 23, son of Majubur of Dinajpur and an employee of UCE Telecom Millennium, fell down from a tower while he was working on it around midnight.
Hearing his cry for help, locals rescued him and sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
In another incident, a man died at Kumira in Sitakunda upazila.
The dead Ruhul Amin, 28, son of Mohammad Suruj Miyan of village Kadamrasul of the upazila.
The reason behind the incident was not known immediately. One Wahidur Rahman Pintu found him on the road around 5:00am and with the help of locals Ruhul was sent to CMCH where doctors declared him dead.
