Pharma factory gutted in Savar
Fire gutted a pharmaceutical factory at Durgapur village in Ashulia yesterday morning.
Fire service and local sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at 'Medisensor Technology,' a pharmaceutical factory at 9:00am and soon engulfed the factory.
On information, fire fighting units from DEPZ and Dhamrai union rushed to the spot and doused the blaze with the help of local people and industrial police as well as RAB after three hours of frantic efforts.
The extent of the loss caused by the fire could go up t Tk 3.5 crore.
