Drug peddler arrested in Keraniganj
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a drug peddler along with 50 pieces of yaba tablet and a motorcycle at Manurbag in South Keraniganj yesterday.
The arrested was identified as Jahurul Islam Jiku, 25, son of Habibur Rahman of the area.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-10 raided the area and held Jiku along with yaba tablets while he was selling the drugs at about 5:30pm.
A motorcycle used by the drug peddler was also seized during the drive.
Rab filed a case with South Keraniganj police station under the Narcotics Control Act.
