Two workers die in wall collapse
Body found on road
Two workers died after a wall collapsed on them at a brickfield in Kalampur bazar of Dhamrai Police Station yesterday.
The deceased are Chanb Mia, 36, of village Khatra and Alam, 27, of village Dhaira.
Police said the wall near MB Brickfield was made of low quality bricks causing it to fall on the workers who were standing next to it.
In another incident, police recovered the body of a young man near Balithar Sarkar Steel Mill on Dhaka-Aricha Highway under Dhamrai Police Station yesterday.
Police said the body, dressed in a check shirt and trousers, bore marks of injury.
