Rahman Boyati hospitalised
Noted folk singer Abdur Rahman Boyati, aged about 70, was admitted to the city's Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital due to old age complications yesterday evening.
Rahman is suffering from neurological problem, which requires an urgent operation for recovery, said Dr Towhid Muhammad Saiful.
"We are observing and try to make him fit for operation," he added. Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital will bear all the expenditure for his treatment.
