CU budget okayed
Chittagong University (CU) Finance Committee and Syndicate at a meeting yesterday approved the proposed budget of Tk 115.6 crore for the financial year 2011-12.
University Grants Commission will provide Tk 103.60 crore while the rest will come from CU's internal resources, said syndicate member Dr Mohammad Kamrul Huda, provost of Pritilata Hall.
A revised budget of Tk 114.10 crore for the financial year 2010-11 was also approved and would be placed before the Senate meeting scheduled for June 29.
