JCD leader sent to jail for 'stalking'
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Tejgaon College unit president was sent to jail yesterday after arrest on charges of allegedly stalking a girl.
Police held Mizanur Rahman Raj, 25, from the college area around 8:00pm and produced him before the court, which sent him to jail.
Mizanur and 10-12 others stalked the girl student, hit her with a motorcycle and beat her cousin Nurul Islam when they were going to the college on Tuesday evening.
Later, Nurul Islam filed a case with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station in this connection.
