Young man found dead
A young man aged about 35 was found dead in a ditch at Konapara in the city's Jatrabari yesterday.
Police said the hands and legs of the body were tied to the back with ropes. Ropes were also stashed inside his mouth.
Police said the body was floating on the water. Police recovered the body around 3:00pm after the local people informed the matter to them.
Police suspect that the youth was strangled two days ago and dumped the body to the pond.
Police sent the body to Sir Salimullah Medical College (SMC) morgue for autopsy.
