Girl rescued, 'abductor' held
Police rescued a kidnapped girl from Shialmara village in Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj and arrested the alleged kidnapper on Monday, four days after her abduction.
Sharmin, 13, daughter of Shafiqul Islam of Mirzapur village of Daipukuria union under Shibganj upazila, was kidnapped from her house on Friday.
Following a case filed by Sharmin's father, Shibganj police rescued her from the house of Md Ruhul, 35, of Shialmara village and arrested him.
