Physically challenged Japanese volunteer in country
Ayami Azemoto, the first Japanese physically challenged volunteer in Bangladesh, met Social Welfare Minister Enamul Hoque Mostofa Shaheed at the minister's secretariat office yesterday.
Azemoto with low-vision has been placed at Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS) on a one month assignment while she will share practical knowledge with BPKS regarding the situation in Japan and Bangladesh.
Takuzo Komabashiri, representative of Japanese volunteer programme of JICA, was also present at the meeting.
