Quader orders transfer of all B'baria rail station staff
Minister for Communications and Railways Obaidul Quader has directed to transfer all employees of Brahmanbaria Railway Station, including its stationmaster Wahiduzzaman, for allegation of black marketing of tickets, corruption and irregularities.
He made the directives while visiting the railway station on Sunday.
Earlier, Quader also visited the Brahmanbaria-Comilla Highway and instructed the concerned officials to complete repair of the highway before Eid-ul-Fitr.
The minister said highways would be brought under the development projects to construct seven bridges on the roads.
During the visit, he instructed the concerned people to build resistance against massive extortion on roads and highways.
Quader also visited the BRTA office in the district and ordered launching departmental investigation against the concerned officials for various irregularities.
