Admission tests at DU begin Oct 12
The admission tests for honours programmes in Dhaka University (DU) under 2012-2013 academic session will begin on October 12.
The decision came at a deans' committee meeting headed by Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique yesterday.
The admission tests under the five units for five faculties--Science, Humanities, Business Studies, Social Science (Unit Change) and Fine Arts--will be held on October 12, 19, November 2, 9 and 16 respectively.
Talking to The Daily Star, the VC said applicants have to apply online like the previous year.
Application forms would be available on the university website from August 26 till September 15, he added.
Requirements for the admission tests will remain the same like previous year. Students have to pay a total of Tk 330 for the registration, which includes Tk 30 for online application charge.
Applicants have been asked to visit the university website-- www.admission.univdhaka.edu--for their admission procedures.
