Housewife 'commits suicide'
A housewife allegedly committed suicide at Lalkhan Bazar in Chittagong city yesterday.
The deceased was Lucky Akter, 19, hailed from Brahmanbaria.
Lucky's husband, Naharuzzaman, found her hanging from a ceiling of their house in Lalkhan Bazar when he woke up for taking Sehri, said Sub-Inspector (SI) of Khulshi Police Station Talat Mahmud.
Being informed by Naharuzzaman, police reached the house to find the body lying on the floor, he said.
Naharuzzaman's sister-in-law, who lives next door to the house, said Lucky might have committed suicide over a family fued, quoted the SI.
Police sent the body to Chittagong Medical College morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed with Khulshi Police Station in this regard.
