Construction worker falls to death
A construction worker died after falling from the fifth floor of an under-construction building in the capital's Pallabi area yesterday.
The deceased was Moktar Hossain, 28, of Borhanuddin in Bhola. He had been working at the building, a project of Western Developers Ltd, for a month.
Mahbub, co-worker of the deceased, said Moktar slipped and fell down the building during work around 10:00am.
Moktar was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
