Death anniversary
Today is the 35th death anniversary of Dr Nawab Ali, a prominent Bangalee Muslim physician. Born in Matlab North, Chandpur in 1902, he was one of the founder principals of Dhaka Medical College and a member of the then provincial assembly of East Pakistan, says a press release. Dr Nawab Ali Memorial Welfare Trust has been running educational, social and religious institutions to promote public welfare.
