Four Tahrir men held
Four alleged members of banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh were arrested by Rapid Action Battalion in two separate drives in the capital's Elephant Road and Nakhalpara areas yesterday.
The arrested are Redwan Ahmed, an honours final year student of a private university in the capital, Abdul Al Momin, a student of Nabaganj Bazar Mosque Madrasa, Ruhul Amin Sohug, a student of Madina Mosque Madrasa in Lalbagh and Abdur Rahman, a student of Dhaka College.
Rayhan Uddin Khan, operation officer of Rab-2, said the four were arrested while distributing leaflets of Hizb-ut-Tahrir.
