Najimuddin Ahmed Khan
Najimuddin Ahmed Khan Nantu passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest at his residence in OR Nizam Road area of Chittagong city. He was 52, says a press release. He left behind his mother, wife and a host of relatives to mourn his death. His first namaz-e-janaza was held at OR Nizam Road Jame Masjid. He was buried in his family graveyard at Bara Uthan village of Patiya upazila in Chittagong following his second namaz-e-janaza there in the afternoon. Nantu was involved with different cultural organisations, including Swadhin Gosthi, Nabin Mela and Saikat Chari, and was a member of the popular music band 'Souls.'
