New envoy to Qatar appointed
The government has decided to appoint Muhammad Enayet Hussain as the ambassador of Bangladesh to the State of Qatar. He is currently serving as the consul general of Bangladesh in Los Angeles, USA. A career diplomat, Hussain also served the Bangladesh Consulate General in Jeddah, Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei, Bangladesh Embassy in Doha, and Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin. He obtained an MA degree in English Literature from University of Dhaka. He successfully graduated from National Defence College in Dhaka and is a BCS Cadre, said a press release of the foreign ministry yesterday.
