Grenade found in Khagrachhari
A grenade was found at Chow-dhuripara under Ramgarh upazila in hill district Khagrachhari on Thursday.
Mohammad Rubel, 11, son of late Askar Ali of Chowdhuripara, found the grenade at an unused pond and handed it over to the army men, who are working for voter listing in the area, police said.
An army official immediately called Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and asked them to see the matter.
After examination, the grenade was found to be inactive, Lt Col Sharif Mohammad Abul Hossen of BDR told reporters.
