11 bombs recovered in Jhenidah
Police recovered 11 bombs, three pipe-guns, two bullets and several kg bomb-making materials from the district town and an adjoining village on Sunday night.
Tipped off, a police team of Kotwali Police Station conducted a search in the bushes at Madhugram village behind Sharothi rice mill of the town and recovered 11 bombs, two pipe-guns and several kg bomb-making materials at around 9:30pm.
In another drive the same night, Kotwali police recovered a pipe-gun and two bullets from a house at Chasra Rai para of the town.
Officer-in-Charge Abul Bashar of Jessore Sadar Police Station confirmed the recovery incidents.
