Satkhira <i>poura</i> commissioner gets 5 yr RI
A court here yesterday sentenced a commissioner of Satkhira pourasava to five years' rigorous imprisonment for keeping drug.
The court also fined convicted Mujibullah Ailu Tk 2000, in default two serve RI for two months more, court sources said. He is son of Khaibar Rahman Sardar of Pransayer area in the town
Judge Samsul Arefin of Additional District and Session's Judge's court delivered the verdict.
The case against Mujibullah was filed with Satkhira Sadar police station on December 14, in 2002 after he was caught with Indian drugs in Batkekhali area in the Sadar upazila.
