One killed in Pabna clash
One person was killed and five others were injured in a clash over harvesting pulses at village Charkurulia in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Ansar Ali, 55, of village Charkurulia.
During the clash that continued for about one and a half hours, the supporters of Ansar Ali and Khabiruddin used sticks, iron rods, axes, hockey sticks and sharp weapons, leaving six people injured, police and locals said.
Three of the injured were admitted to Pabna General Hospital where Ansar Ali died at about 11:00pm.
