A garment worker, Amir Hossain, who was shot by miscreants four days ago, died at a clinic in the capital's Dhanmondi yesterday. Twenty-five-year-old Amir was crossing a fish enclosure owned by Alamgir in Badda Satarkul area while some miscreants who guard the enclosure shot him in the waist. They might have shot Amir, considering him a thief, said Badda police, adding that the firearms were likely to be unlicensed. Amir's father, Abdul Alim, filed a case with Badda Police Station accusing five, including Alamgir.
