Jamaat leader Mujibur arrested
Mujibur Rahman, assistant secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, was arrested yesterday from Zero Point area of Khulna city in a case.
The case was filed with Rajshahi Sadar Police Station accusing him of attacking police in Rajshahi during the hartal called by BNP-led opposition on January 6.
Rapid Action Battalion arrested Mujibur while he was on his way to Dhaka from Satkhira. They handed him over to Kotwali police of Khulna after interrogation.
