Views-exchange meetings held in Khulna, Barisal
Champs21.com, an initiative of The Daily Star, yesterday held views-exchange meetings with English teachers of schools in Barisal and Khulna.
In Khulna, 48 English teachers from 48 schools participated at the meeting held in City Inn hotel yesterday afternoon, reports our Khulna correspondent.
Meanwhile, according to our Barisal correspondent, 60 teachers from different Barisal schools was present at the meeting held in the city's Celebration Point Hall room.
The programmes were held to announce the second season of Spelling Bee, which will start from January 15 and continue till February 28.
The English spelling contest, participated by class VI-X students, was launched for the first time in the country last year by Champs21.com with Horlicks as the sponsor.
