Death anniversary
Today is the twenty-second death anniversary of Abuld Qasem FCA, founder president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). Qasem founded one of the oldest Chartered Accountancy firms of the country, A Quasem & Co, in 1953 and was a former president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI). Qasem, the second Muslim chartered accountant in the country, was a member of Dhaka University Senate and its finance committee.
