Minister orders transfer of two BRTC staff
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday ordered to transfer two Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) staff from Chittagong for their alleged involvement in irregularities.
He gave the order during a sudden visit at BRTC, Chittagong office yesterday morning.
The two are Kamruzzaman, assistant traffic officer, and Nuruzzaman, office assistant, said Abul Kalam Azad, senior information officer of the ministry.
On Sunday, the minister also transferred three Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) officials from Chittagong for allegedly being involved in corruption, irregularities and harassment of stakeholders.
