Worker falls to death in Ctg
A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Chittagong city yesterday afternoon.
The deceased, Mohammad Alam, 30, hailed from Sylhet district and resided in Sabujbag area of the port city.
Alam suddenly slipped and fell on the boundary wall from the 7th floor of LRB Building in Block-J of Halishahar area, while working standing on tin scaffolding around 12:10pm, said victim's co-worker Mohammad Ali.
Alam was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
