Cricket is a game of glorious uncertainty. It is one of the reasons for attracting the crowd towards the game. Silly things can happen, the master team can lose to the underdogs any time. It's passion, it's imagination & it's pride As such, Bangladesh Cricket team has been congratulated proudly with respect & hope, the only sport to present Bangladesh in the international arena. We always have a glimmer of hope that one day (only) this game can bring the World Cup. We had a nice journey in the beginning, with lots of talents. The hope continuously increased in size. Everything started to change rapidly as well as the infrastructure. It is quite obvious that we couldn't provide the best but it's not the worst. The Board is trying to improve facilities day by day. Suddenly, we realised that everything is all right except the quality of our cricket team! I don't know what happened to the players but seems like they keep forgetting about their main job, goal or aim, whatever you say. Not that we aren't patient enough. Dav Whatemore as a coach supervised Bangladesh for a long time and we had a success in the World Cup 2007 as we qualified for the 2nd round by beating India. We were jubilant & happiest ever. Dav tried to establish a team which would play for a long time together. Since then he quit, everything is messy & clumsy. Players are not stable in the team, especially the management is proving to be quite weak. I would like to loudly say that “We love cricket, We love our team.” We want to support them always but they also need to do something positive. If you continue to fail and don't change your attitude, it's going to be worse only, not good in any way. The Board has its flaws. By shuffling players regularly they are hiding the cause. Lastly, I would like to suggest: don't change the Doctor, use proper Medicine! Concluding with a sweet dream where Tigers will roar again with passion and believe in themselves. Best of luck!
