Biodiversity means the distribution of flora and fauna in various places of the earth. The flora and fauna that occurs in earth system includes- Hydrosphere, Lithosphere and Atmosphere. The term of biodiversity refers to the word Biosphere. There are thousands of biological species in various spheres of earth system. God has created them for the welfare of human beings. The existence of human life is impossible without the contribution of biological species. The biological species or biodiversity serves various things that are most valuable and essential to human life. But at present, the biological species are declining or depleting due to various anthropogenic activities. So, the term biodiversity conservation is going to be a major issue all over the world. Now, biodiversity conservation is the major concern not only in Bangladesh but also in the whole world. The countries are trying to conserve biodiversity. There are various environmental pollutions such as water, air and soil that are causing depletion of the biological species or biodiversity. If we cannot conserve the biological species or biodiversity, we have to face many problems that may lead to the extinction of human life on the planet earth. So, proper steps should be taken to control environmental pollution for conservation of biodiversity.
