Tibet and China

During the recent visit of the foreign minister of China, the government of Bangladesh expressed support for one China policy, despite the state induced repression on Tibet. If this is the right decision, what was wrong about the Pakistanis in 1971? Do people of Tibet deserve this? Economic and political benefits are an important factor, but, nevertheless, there are other questions too.
