Resolve the issue
The people of Egypt and Iraq are Arabs. But as they live in two different countries they are also Egyptians and Iraqis respectively.
In our country, some people like to identify themselves only as Bengalee and consider the term “Bangladeshi” to be a “Pakistani ghost.” On the other hand, the other group regards itself as only Bangladeshi.
Suppose, a foreigner comes to and settles in Bangladesh and after some years he is awarded the citizenship. He has no Bengalee blood but we can call him a Bangladeshi. Our indigenous people are not Bengalees but Bangladeshis as they are citizens of Bangladesh.
The conflict between Bengalee and Bangladeshi is going on. The sooner we settle the matter, the better for us.
