What are they doing?

In the latest remark by our ex-prime minister in the USA, she stated that there would be no more corruption in Bangladesh in future. I was just wondering what she really meant. It could be an indirect remark from her to hint that she would not return to the country and hence there is no chance for corruption to grow as there would be no such leader to promote its growth. I again wonder, instead of bringing numerous specific allegations of corruption against the two ex-prime ministers and spending hefty amounts of money for the investigation and using the lawyers' time, why could not these two individuals be dealt with separately for promoting corruption in society and let us not forget, all these were under their watch and Bangladesh was crowned with the title of MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY in the world. Any civilized individual of any civilized society will never dispute this at all. When the shameless never repent for their crimes and ill-doings, any person showing any sympathy or passion towards them must have been an accomplice and hence is equally guilty of corruption, and let's say that they are the eggs of the same hen. The problem is with the silent majority of our country. The silent majority always suffer. They do not come to the streets to protest against any injustice. The people will never topple a government; they will never come forward. They just pray for a miracle. They thought that one such leadership was about to emerge after 1/11. But Alas!! It appears that all these are hollow.
