JCD leader arrested

Detective Branch (DB) police yesterday arrested district Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) President Saiful Islam Sumon at Haybot Nagar of the town. Sumon was also the vice president of Gurudayal Government University College. During primary interrogation, Sumon said there were three cases against him with Karimganj and Kishoreganj Sadar police stations, said DB Sub-Inspector Mosharaf who arrested the JCD leader.
