Homicides decline
"Statistics of Dhaka Metropolitan Police shows 29 people were murdered in June and 33 in July. There were 30 murders in August and eight in the last 15 days of this month." This was gleaned from a local newspaper.
We appear to have forgotten that just before Operation Clean Heart, there were 300 murders per month. A 90% decline in the homicide rate would be considered a miracle in any country!
