A legal issue

As a practising lawyer, I draw the attention of the Ministry of Law to the fact that people relevant to the practice of law, either Judges or lawyers, should take note not to abuse the legal system in allowing adjournments of cases on account of lawyers being tied up in other courts or even lawyers falling ill. A bail application being granted on account of health reasons should pass the basic test of the client's health conditions affecting his/her health to the level that she/he is unable to follow the court proceedings and she/he is also unable to run her daily regular affairs as she/he is much oblivious of other matters in life owing to worsening health conditions and a court process might jeopardise the health conditions further. None should be allowed exemption of the regular process of the law on special grounds as no one is above law and we lawyers will be unanswerable for such practice in similar cases in future, as precedents remain as records.
