Doctor held, illegal clinic closed in C'nawabganj
Joint forces yesterday arrested a medical officer of Chapainawabgonj Sadar Hospital for running a private clinic illegally.
The law enforces arrested Dr. Asit Kumar Sarkar and closed his Grameen Clinic allegedly for running it without valid papers and proper facilities, police said.
They said the doctors also used his residence as a post-operative center for patients. The joint forces during a raid also found two patients at his residence, police said.
The raid was led by Magistrate Md. Nasiruddi.
