BDR, BSF trade gunfire in Satkhira
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on Minday night traded gunfire on Taluigachha border in Sadar upazila.
The BSF of Tarali camp in Swarupnagar police station under North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal opposite to Taluigachha border fired ten bullets targeting the BDR of Taluigachha camp at about 11:30pm on Monday when the BDR retaliated with ten shots. But no casualty is reported.
On contact, Major Kamrul Hasan, operations officer of 41 Rifles Battalion, confirmed the incident.
