Freedom fighter elected secretary of Khulna Shishu Foundation
Freedom fighter Shaikh Abdul Kayyum was elected secretary general of Khulna Shishuy Foundation (KSF) yesterday.
He polled 21 out of 35 votes of members of its executive committee.
His nearest rival Shafiqul Alam Mona, secretary of Khulna district BNP, got 11 votes.
The election was held at the conference room of Khulna Shishu Hospital.
Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Yunusur Rahman conducted the election as ex-officio president of Khulna Shishu Foundation, said a press release.
Kayyum is also chairperson of Khulna Citizens Forum.
