BSF kills one in Thakurgaon
The Border Security Force (BSF) of India shot dead a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Baliadangi border under Thakurgaon district on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Abdul Mozid 32, son of Abed Ali of village Kasua under Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon.
As the BSF fired at least five shots when three people including Mozid and his elder brother Abdul Aziz appeared near a border pillar, Mozid died on the spot and BSF took away the body into Indian territory, said BDR officials and the victim's family members.
The BSF has agreed to return Mozid's body,
Earlier on Saturday, the BSF gunned down a Bangladeshi national and injured at least three people on Ranishankoil border of Thakurgaon district.
