Performance of ministers
I am very sceptical about the selection of the AL cabinet. Most of them do not have any technical knowledge or experience in their respective fields. It takes knowledge, vision and administrative skill to run a ministry. As a supporter of the AL, I wish the situation will be rectified very soon, before further damage is done to the economy.
We may also think of adopting the US mechanism for selection of ministers through confirmation hearings by a special committee of parliament.
