Army explodes 12 recovered rocket launchers in Moulvibazar
A special team of Bangladesh Army yesterday exploded 12 rocket launchers which were recovered during earth digging at Shamsernagar on October 7.
Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ehsanul Haque said the Army team exploded the rocket launchers at a distant place in Lawachhera reserve forest at about 2 pm.
The 12 rocket launchers were recovered during earth digging behind the under-construction market of LGED at Shamsernagar Bazaar in Kamalganj upazila.
Police earlier said those were brought by Pakistani army in 1971 during the Liberation War.
